Please read the following terms and conditions prior to our arrival, it contains useful information as to how best prepare for your move, if you have any questions please get in touch and we will be happy to help
All quotes are based on the information supplied to us by the customer. ALL relevant details provided such as Property Type(s), Access and Volume of Goods should be as accurate as possible so we can provide an accurate quote.
Anything that is likely to cause us delay and add extra time to the removal should be disclosed and is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure we are made fully aware of any such circumstances in advance.
If on arrival it is deemed that the initial information was not correct and you have more items than quoted for or the job details differ to the information that your quote was based on there may be additional charges and we will need to give you a new quote based on the actual information.
Parking must be arranged prior to the removal/delivery and is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that parking is available directly outside the property or within a reasonable distance. It is the customers responsibility to inform us if there is a significant walk from the nearest parking, or of any parking restrictions.
We do our best to arrive extremely punctually, however unforeseen events can occur such as road closures, traffic delays, adverse weather ect that can cause unavoidable delays out with our control. We will contact you should there be any delays.
Your Packing Responsibilities
We do not offer a packing service. All of our quotes are for self pack removal services. It is the customers responsibility to ensure all items are suitably packed well before our arrival. We accept no responsibility for breakage or damage to items that have not been packed/protected by adequate means. Fragile items must be clearly marked as fragile and suitably protected.
If you are unsure how to protect a particular item for transport please ask and we will be happy to advise you.
We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to your goods/property once the job has been completed, payment received and the driver/crew have left your property.
What We Can’t Carry
Please note there are some items we cannot carry for legal/insurance/practical reasons. We cannot carry the following: Compressed Air, Gas, Paint, Fuel, Oil, Vehicles incl Motorbikes & Quad’s, Livestock and Animals, Waste/Rubbish, items excessively dirty, Slabs/Bricks/Aggregate etc, Large Pianos, Soil, Chemicals, Snooker Tables, American Style Fridge Freezers, Range Cookers (Aga etc)
Dismantle & Assembly
We can dismantle and rebuild furniture upon request, however unless this has been agreed in advance and included in the removal quote, it is the customers responsibility to have Wardrobes and Beds dismantled prior to our arrival
All domestic appliances such as gas/electric cookers, washing machines and dishwashers should be disconnected from the electricity, gas or water supply prior to our arrival and ready for transport. As dealing with these items is not our profession, we do not have sufficient training, licencing or insurance to disconnect appliances. If you wan’t to ask about a specific item you are unsure about don’t hesitate to contact us
Please be aware of the size of large bulky items and take into consideration whether it will fit into the new location. If large furniture was built in a room (for example a large wardrobe in a bedroom) it may not be possible to take the item out built, and unless prearranged we won’t be able to dismantle it for you.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that items will fit in the new premises, (e.g. size of sofa and size of door) We are not insured to remove doors/windows, It is up to the customer to arrange a specialist if needed.
We will make our best efforts to place items where you wish however if it is a difficult item or has difficult access we may not be able to do this and will discuss this with you. We will accept no responsibility for any damage caused due to difficult access and will always warn you first and ask for your permission before attempting anything we deem as a potential risk3
Delays and Waiting Time
We reserve the right to add extra costs due to unforeseen delays and waiting time.
(e.g. waiting for keys or gaining entry, incorrect addresses, job taking longer due to additional work required from items added on, unarranged disassembly of furniture etc).
The removal quote is not for an unlimited period of time. It is based on loading/unloading the vehicle within a reasonable time scale and the vehicle being parked within a reasonable distance of both properties.
Payments are to be made to the crew on the day. We accept payments by cash, bank transfer or credit/debit card.
We can carry out invoice work for commercial customers only, please get in touch with us in advance to arrange this. We do not accept cheques from commercial or domestic customers.
